It's good for Nintendo to show 3DS love.
Awesome news! Although a lot of this is going off past successes instead of making new ones ...
whois makig new stuff right now? just a question. cause besides sony making new ips (but they are in a proven genre so not really innovative) who is making new stuff? Nintendo fans love this stuff so nintendo is doing it right. they just need to do it faster....

Nintendo has plenty of new IPs, look it up
They ARE new games though. * A Sequel to AlttP is something millions have wanted since the mid 90's. * Yoshi's Island 3DS is a game people have wanted for a long time, a nice proper sequel to Yoshi's Island. That right there is huge news, not to mention the other details they released. * New Mario Party looks like it has potential * Mario & Luigi + Mario Golf both look solid. * Rune Factory 4 is still being released, Project X zone, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3DS, with new world. * Bravely Default - lots of people wanted this, and it looks solid * LoZ OoA + OoS are still on there way, Luigis mansion just dropped not too long ago. I'm pretty happy with all the games about to be available to me for the 3DS. Can't complain one bit. Edit: not to mention Earthbound....Which actually might be a niche system seller.
LOL! Your true colors have been revealed.
Wow. That zelda game looks awesome and I love some of the new gameplay ideas they are implementing. So happy that Earthbound will be available here in North America. Finally!
I can't believe their making a new one. I loved the original. The flat against the wall mechanic seems iffy to me at the moment though. But either way, that and everything else they're showing there, I may have to cave and Finally get a 3DS.
This may get me interested in Zelda again!
Wow, so let me get this straight... Link to the past 2 Mario Golf Mario Party Mario and Luigi All for 3DS? Great, that's gonna put a dent in my wallet... Very pleased with this Nintendo. Keep it up. Link to the Past 2 though, that's what gets all my money first.
Also Shin Megami Tensei IV, Yoshi's Island 2, Bravely Default, Oracle Zeldas, Animal Crossing, Rune Factory 4, new Professor Layton and DK Country Returns(if you have not played it on Wii)
Oh yeah, completely forgot about SMTIV, Bravely Default, and Rune Factory 4. Definitely looking forward to those three as well. (Played Orcale of Ages and DK Returns. Animal Crossing and Professor Layton aren't really my thing, but it's awesome for those who are looking forward to them.) Either way, Nintendo is pushing out a lot of great games for 3DS. Very happy about it. :]
You don't feel a little weirded out saying Mario three times ? Part of me kinda wishes for Sony to get out of the gaming business so we can drown in the sea of Mario and Nintendo ips.
Yeah it's a lot of Mario, but most of the games he's featured in are actually really good by themselves. Even if he weren't a part of them, they'd be fun.
Eartbound finally coming here, the legend of zelda a link to the past 2 looks awesome can't wait
I kinda overgrown the handhelds, don't see me getting one for sure. But but, I want to play the new Link to the Past Zelda, best Zelda of all time.
All for the 3DS....come on Nintendo, it was bad enough you put Luigis mansion 2 on the 3DS. Give me more reasons to buy a Wii U
now just wait for Wii U nintendo Direct
damn, the 3DS is a beast got to get my hands on that Shin Megami Tensei 4 collector's edition. And Yoshi's Island 3DS, I still play the first one to this day. It's gonna be amazing A link to the Past 2, speechless, now all we need is Majora's Mask 3D.
When I first read LoZ:LttP2 I was extremely excited, but after watching that video about it, I'm extremely disappointed. I guess I still won't be getting a 3DS.
This is why Nintendo innovates! Because the way used 3d and then Link becoming a hieroglyphic like drawing just adds depth and personality to this game tremendously. I guess we should go back and revisit that Wal-Mart preorder list that was leaked, because it had a LoZ rpg 2 on that list and now Nintendo pretty much confirmed that today.
I just found that aticle about the Wal-mart preorder list and it had LoZ rpg2 as a WiiU game. So either it was listed under the wrong console or there's another game being made for the WiiU as well. Still hyped up about this new Zelda though! I think once Nintendo finishes putting out great games over the 3ds' lifespan, they will prove just how viable the 3d aspect can be to gaming.
Finally get a sequel to A Link to the Past and it has one of the ugliest art styles I have ever seen of a Nintendo game. Why do Pokemon and Zelda on 3DS have such awful art styles?!
Well in all fairness one of the very first things that they said about the game is that its still under development. I personally like the art style and think that its true to that Zelda world! The most important aspect for me is how the game plays and when I saw the new gameplay mechanic of "hieroglyph" mode I was sold on this game at that point... Nintendo is just coming up with ways to show how this type of gaming is unique to the 3ds.
