Nintendo announces Zelda 3DS, sequel to A Link to the Past, releasing this holiday

Nintendo formally announced a new Zelda title for 3DS this morning. It will come out in 2014 in Japan. Thankfully North America will get it this holiday. It is a sequel in the world of A Link to the Past. (3DS, The Legend of Zelda, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 2, Zelda 3DS)

Who saw this coming? Nintendo, I just hope you do a great job with this one. What an amazing idea.

Why do we need another sequel to Link to the Past? There are already 3 sequels. In timeline order: Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages, and Link's Awakening. Not really complaining though. Link to the Past is one of my all-time favorites.

Yea, I don't want to seem odd by saying you would think this story would have more popularity on N4G (coz I posted it) but it is suprisingly low for a new zelda game
