Is FIFA 14 coming to Wii U? 'Additional formats to be announced in the coming months,' say EA

ONM writes: FIFA 14 has been revealed for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Set for release this autumn, the latest game in EA's massive football series has yet to be confirmed for Wii U but EA has given Nintendo fans hope, saying that additional formats will be announced in the coming months. (FIFA 14, Wii U)

well I can say it looks like EA and Nintendo have come to blows and from looking at recent games that could have come to wii u and are not which have been announced for ps360 such as BF4 and madden 25 I would guess this wont either!

Pathetic!! it's like two kids not wanting to share their toys and sad of 2 large companies! remember EA saying could you imagine BF on wii u!

Ohh well as many have said get fifa 13 on wii u as it will be pretty much the same game anyway and maybe if maybe it is announced later they would have fixed all the issues that were present on fifa 13 which caused much anger..

It is not EA "and" Nintendo. It is just EA. I would actually be happy if Nintendo finally took action against EA and their crookedness (which there title as the worst company America shows they have earned well).

Nintendo needs to just discontinue all connections with EA and actively ban them from releasing anything further on their hardware. EA's bitter/condescending 1/3 support is causing more harm than good.

I'm tired of all of the article trying to make a big deal out of all of the inferior ports EA dumps on Nintendo hardware and all of the over-hyped game titles they deny access to on the hardware. Dealing with EA altogether is hurting Nintendo's rep and they would be better off without EA.

dude, ban a 3rd party from your system doesnt solve anything, in fact it will make them worse, even this 3rd is EA*s

Additional formats sounds like PS4 and 720 to me.

EA are clearly showing they have no faith in Wii U, or the headline would have read...

"Wii U, PS3, 360 and other formats to be announced soon".

When a greedy company such as EA (who would release a Fifa game on the back of a Donkey if the A$$ had a screen) neglects Wii U, it really is curtains for the bugger.

As a serious footy fan, a console without Fifa (PES too) is a console not worth having.

Also, there is very limited Third Party Support. Nintendo are slow to release their own IP's. The damn system runs very slow (even after update), the systems 1GB of Ram is looking prehistoric compared to PS4/Nextbox and the Controller Touch Screen has become nothing more than a gimmick.

Looks like Wii U is heading toward an Iceberg, destined to be the Titanic of Video Game Consoles.

Sad :(

They are neither supporting the Wii U or the 3DS.

It has nothing to do with faith. This is the result of bitterness. EA is spiteful about Nintendo not taking their horrible Origin deal. There is absolutely nothing more to it than that.

Thanks for putting me in the picture. Seems really childish EA would behave so. I guess they have PS4 & Nextbox development, so they don't need to support Nintendo then.

Tough Cookies for Wii U owners. Hope Wii U's fortunes get better.
