“Motocross Madness” Pure Sophistry Review

Excerpt:

"It’s hard to believe that it has been thirteen years since Rainbow Studios departed from Microsoft to join the now defunct THQ. In the meantime, they have put out a steady stream of mediocre motocross games to the tune of “MX vs ATV” in various forms, the most recent being MX Vs. ATV Alive. With the original license still firmly in their pocket, Microsoft has resurrected the series as a vehicle for their Microsoft Avatar feature (which I’d all but forgotten existed!) The game forces you into the shoes of you, as your avatar, which was strange for me, as my little guy has smart western style attire from a Red Dead Redemption avatar award, along with a steam-punk set of goggles and a large top hat. Seeing this gentleman who is apparently me hurtling through the Egyptian desert, the Australian outback and the Icelandic volcano courses was somewhat surreal to begin with, but it says a heck of a lot for the game that I soon forgot this, as my attention was drawn to the games rather generous and surprisingly polished content." (Arcade, Avatar Motocross Madness, Xbox 360) 4.5/5
