1UP Previews Universe at War: Earth Assault

1UP writes: "Walking into a recent Universe at War press multiplayer event at Sega, we had a few curiosities in mind. Would the game run well during Xbox 360 and PC cross-platform play? Would PC players have an advantage over console players because of the mouse and keyboard? Would either group be able to find players easily online? As we found out, the respective answers are yes, maybe and sort of.

Matches between the networked 360 players ran smoothly, with no hiccups that we saw. We even tried to break the game by overpopulating our screen with Novus troops, but we didn't encounter any slowdown so the game is already looking more stable than the build we played a few weeks ago; though obviously, putting the game through the paces on LIVE will have to wait until the game hits retail". (PC, Universe at War: Earth Assault, Xbox 360)
