Preview: Don't Starve (PC Beta) - TGV

The Gaming Vault writes:

"My first attempt at self-sustenance on Don’t Starve lasted two days before I decided I was bored of plant life and wanted some meat in my belly. Sadly, the meat that I wanted was attached to 700lbs of angry buffalo with horns who, upon my initial axe-swinging attack, promptly summoned the rest of its herd to trample me down in quick and brutal fashion.

A world away from the chainsaw wielding revenge-obsessed maniacs and shadowy ninja types that have made up the best of its back catalogue, hardcore survival sim Don’t Starve is Klei Entertainment‘s most stark departure yet from their previous output. Its a game that prioritises careful preparation and resource management over chainsaw killings and stealthy shenanigans." (Don't Starve, PC)
