15 Games I’d Love To See Ported To Android - GameWoof

There are plenty of games being ported to tablets, phones or other Android devices as of late, such as Metal Slug, Magicka, Shoot Many Robots and many other titles. But that doesn't mean that there couldn't be more. Mike Deneen from GameWoof looks at 15 games he'd like to see on the Google Play store soon. (Android, Bit.Trip Runner, Civilization, Industry, SimCity, Super Meat Boy)

I would add Trials Evolution, Mark of the Ninja, Defense Grid,
.... and ilomilo to that list. Would also love some more top-down racers being released for the platform.

Small error in the article: it mentions Super Meat Boy made a name for itself on Steam, but it was first a flash-game, then a brilliant XBLA game, and after that it was released for Steam.

Unfortunately, Mark of the Ninja and ilomilo are owned by M$, so we'll most likely only be seeing those on Windows phones. M$ might own Trials as well, but I'm not as sure about that one. There is a Trials clone for android, though. It's...okay.

Hasboro is going to miss out.
I don't know what is taking Hasboro so long to port RISK. They are going to lose out like they did with scrabble/words with friends once someone beats them to the punch by making an acceptable digital version under a different name (Conquer with friends?)

It seems like the PERFECT table top game for mobile platforms.
