Listen and learn: Michael Denny on five years of planning PlayStation 4

Edge:Sony learned some difficult lessons from the launch of PlayStation 3, and it is determined not to make those mistakes again. With Microsoft’s silence becoming ever more conspicuous, its greatest videogame rival is slowly, but surely, explaining the philosophy behind PlayStation 4. Many were not content with a controller, a few games and a vision at PlayStation Meeting on February 20th; when we speak to Sony Worldwide Studios’ vice president Michael Denny six weeks later, he isn’t revealing too much more about its price, look or launchdate. Itll be a day to remember when i get my ps4 in my hands and open it up at home. Im 34 but ill be like a kid in FAO Schwartz for the first time. Im sure i wont even sleep that night trying to find out all the cool features and then later on that night going crazy with the share button lol hahahaha

Damn it! For the sake of gaming, I have decided to be an early adopter and will not wait for the killer app like Uncharted 2 on PS3 in 2009!

I have a feeling Uncharted 4, Infamous: Second Son, Media Molecule's 3-D Game Creator, GTA V, Destiny, Watch Dogs, could be inside the launch window.

LOL, no GTAV is not going to launch on PS4. I see GTAV on PS4 and 720 like years from now as a download...but thats a bit of a HUGE stretch to say it will be a launch game.

Destiny and Watchdogs are a bit different in that respect, they are next gen games being scaled down for PS3 and 360, thus why you've haven't seen a PS3 and 360 version OF EITEHR OF THE 2 yet. (quite telling)

I like the Sony 'frontmen' execs, they all come across as genuine, likeable characters.

...but, for some reason, Denny makes me cringe... >_<

Wow, an interview that answered absolutely nothing! Seriously if these "suits" are just going to give these same old canned answers chock full of corporate speak, why even bother. What a waste of my time!
