Oh god no, not another call of duty for the vita!!! At least, now we know for sure that nihilistic isn't making another vita title ever again :) Even then, I doubt activision will give this new call of duty to a worthy enough developer (if it even exists).

I can't help but think Activision saw the error of their ways with CODBOD (Vita). Single player took like 45 minutes and online was laughable.

A PROPER Call of Duty game (think almost exactly like the PS3 version to be released) would be better received and likely sell well.

The first COD for Vita sold terribly because initial reviews were terrible and they never got better.

COD actually sold really well on the Vita. It's one of the systems best selling games. Though Activision knows it could have sold much better if the game wasn't a pile of shit.

I think this years game will be a big improvement. But I think it would be smarter for them to do a new COD series for the Vita because no one would skip the consoles CODs just to play them on the Vita. No Black Ops, no Modern Warfare. It needs something new, with it own characters and story.

Personally I would love another WW2 COD, but taking place in one of the battles/locations that we haven't seen much in games already. Would be a breath of fresh air compared to the market flooded with modern military games.

Maybe I'm being to critical. I just really hope that if this year's call of duty really exists it's much better than the pile of crap known as cod:bod. Hopefully this time activision fixes their mistakes and this year's call of duty for the vita is a proper cod game.

Nihilistic developed Resistance Burning Skies and it was pretty good. Blame Activision for that ..

Kingthrash3601112d ago

can't help but to say while codbod wasnt a great game it was the best handheld fps to date. people are asking too much for a first year game. I'm sure the next one wil be better but don't expect it to be on par with the ps3 version. your just asking for disappointment if thats the case. remember the vita cart is only 4gigs max so regardless of how powerful it is low memory is less quality.

another COD?
i hope will be better graphic, gameplay, storyline..
i'm waiting killzone vita on September
and i'm really hope E3 this year.. will reveal more promising title for vita..

To be fair, these day's the online part of BOD isn't the worst in the world, especially if you can get in a game where it's only 3v3 as it makes the small maps a bit more manageable.

The campaign however is turd. Less than 40 minutes and no story to speak off. Maybe this is what Neversoft are working on? Hopefully, whatever comes to be of a new Call of Duty for the PS Vita is better than BOD.

Hmm maybe this will be the Vita title that was apparently originally canned due to bugs? Reborn and fixed? :) It's going to have to be seeing as Killzone is going to be out slightly before it so if it isn't done properly people will see quite clearly its not Vita but lazy developers..
Really hoping it has zombies with proper zombie maps and like 4 plyers, that would be AWESOME :D
