GameSpot - Ubisoft Toronto's Patrick Redding explores the challenges of developing a modern stealth game, and how the next Splinter Cell aims to surmount them.
One great facet of the Splinter Cell franchise I got to apply in real world terms is becoming more patient and being observant to my surrondings. Love stealth games because it really makes you think about consequences. Got addicted to the series up until Chaos Theory.. it kinda fell away I think with Double Agent, so didn't even bother with Conviction. With Blacklist though I'm betting the franchise is going to be back in spades. Seeing the gameplay demos brought back memories of the first three great Splinter Cell games but now in real HD with a lot of new stealth techniques and gadgets.
