Weekly Digital Roundup: Dimension-swapping luchadors

"I say it’s about freaking time we see the dimension-swapping luchador sidescrolling brawlfest that is Guacamelee! on PS3 and Vita, I recall my fellow staffers being hyped on that game back at PAX East ’12.

PSN users can grab the game for $14.99, or $11.99 if you’re a Plus subscriber. If you’d rather get the pants scared off you, the original PS2 version of Fatal Frame is now available as a PS2 Classic.

Nintendo’s eShop offerings this week aren’t too glamorous save for a sequel to last year’s Dillon’s Rolling Western. At the very least we’ll have a 30-cent Kirby’s Adventure to look forward to next Thursday.

The Xbox Live Marketplace’s Deal of the Week features some great half-price deals on some classic fighting games, including Marvel vs. Capcom: Origins, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and Mortal Kombat Arcade. I’d get them were it not for the 360′s janky d-pad."

- Patrick Kulikowski (3DS, Dillon’s Rolling Western: The Last Ranger, Fatal Frame, Guacamelee, Marvel vs. Capcom Origins, PC, PS Vita, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360)
