Tearaway And Batman Join Killzone In Bolstering Vita's Fall Lineup

FanBolt.com writes: "This time last year, early adopters of the Playstation Vita found themselves in the wake of the launch lineup with much uncertainty about the future of the platform. Heading into E3, few titles due out later in the year were known to the public. And E3, unfortunately, failed to alleviate this; the Vita was barely mentioned at the conference. Playstation did manage to release a few exclusive games in 2012, some, like Littlebigplanet Vita, were better than others. But ultimately, the showing was underwhelming due to a severe lack of first party support.

Fast-forward to 2013..." (Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, Killzone Mercenary, PS Vita, PS3, PS4, Soul Sacrifice, Tearaway)

I'm not excited about the Batman game because it will more than likely be a port from the 3DS. Tearaway is certainly looking interesting though.
Kennytaur  +   523d ago
There's nothing wrong if it's a good port. But I do share your concern.

Vita wasnt mentioned that much at the conference, but it had a huge floor presence afterwards. Please dont act like it wasnt there, its only a 90 minute - 2 hour conference.

A game i will be able to play on my 3DS and a game no one with a little taste cares.

Tearaway saves the honor, but it's just not enough. And nothing is planned for 2014 yet... Come on Sony, let the portable ground to Nintendo. It's just a waste of human and commercial/marketing means.

Bet all on the PS4.

sell 3ds then.

There is more than Tearaway and Killzone...
Who knows if PSO 2 could just be randomly announced this year for the Vita also then again it could never come outside of Japan. Who knows but its possible, it should have been talked about by now at least..

The Vita also has had plenty of games this year I don't get why everyone acts like Killzone and Tearaway is all it has gotten this year or upcoming to look forward to...

You forgot Assassins Creed Rising Phoenix, Duck Tales and Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion.

But the problem is, remove all the digital only titles and you're left with a far thinner lineup. I'm sure Sony will be announcing some more around E3.

Edit: Oh, there's more below... Still no Duck Tales... Wohoo!

That's an awesome list.
Sega really need to stop messing their fans around with Phantasy Star Online 2 and just release the game in the west like they promised.
