Yeah, it was really funny to hear that. Ironic. Wait till this fall. Nintendo will release a new 3D Mario, Zelda, Mario Kart, Pokemon X & Y.... then lets look at the sales and stocks.

i look at it like this...
I am not investing in any platform. I'm investing in the entertainment value of the industry.

That is why I like to play the field instead of settling with just one platform. There is too much restriction when you are loyal to just one. no offense to those who cant afford it but if you could, you would do the same.

there is so much to be had from all sorts of platforms that it makes the gaming industry as a whole that much more interesting.

each company has their view of what they feel is in the best interest of the consumer but they all agree on the same basic principal. Having games that are fun and enjoyable by all types of people.

That is what gaming was all about back in the day. So many have either forgotten about that or they came in late and are interpreting the current state of things as what gaming really means.

Gaming = fun and entertainment. Even though most of the fun is subjective now, at least we still have the entertainment part.

Well freaking said. Man, I wish more gamers could have your mindset. If it was so then maybe the gaming community could actually be a community, instead of being pretty much segregated by console wars and petty fanboy behavior. I just wish we could all get along.

there is nothing wrong about ignoring any platform per se . Even when your favorites genre are represented , some of the offered exclusive might still not fit your taste , because there is such a thing as a publisher's influences and habits , even the first party ones .

The problem is when you pretend the others are crap and got no worthwhile games .

Xenoblades 2 , bayonetta 2 , mario kart , and and potential future Last story 2 metroid and fire emblem games is enough for me to invest in the wii U .

Dont ask me to make it my main console however and use it for multipltform titles , it's quite unlikely
