Super Smash Bros. Brawl is great, near-perfect even… but it's not. There are still a few things missing from it that keep it from being among MTV Multiplayer's favorite games of all time.
In fact, there are 10 things missing.
I think it has too many characters. No one wants to see Pikachu fight Captain Picard more than me, but eventually you just have to figure "how can you focus on 50 characters at the same time and still keep them all fresh, balanced, and creative?"
wow this list is pretty much applied to ANY GAME.. i mean more then 4 people is not BRAWL and sometimes it gets confusing enough with 4... and technically there is downloadable content (kinda) and really.. do we need all that extra stuff to be there.. 5 is the only 1 i agree theer should be and possibly 6. I mean its a cool idea and great for marketing. But honestly the rest is just stuff to put in a top 10 list.. CAPCOM STYLE 2D fighting.. if i want that i'll buy Street Frighter on VC!
#6 is totally unfounded. How does Mr. Cipriano know for a fact that this feature doesn't exist? Metroid Prime 3 detects what save files you have for certain games and puts decals of these games on Samus' ship, so it's entirely possible that Nintendo has put in similar features for SSBB. http://youtube.com/watch?v=...
legendary pokemon, graphics, good characters
Snorlax as a character : )
I don't mind not having voice chat. I hate hearing brats screaming out pwn pwn they do that on a freaking rated M game imagine how many would be out there with a rated T game. I bet he didn't say that when DOA4 came out with like 20 characters, who are mostly the same by the way, sure they have clones in this but at least they changed up some of them, like Fox and Falco. I just wish they put Megaman in the game. Increase player count..this isn't a shooter. its a fighter you don't see Tekken bringing up the player count after there 15 years, Street fighter 4 doesn't even bring up the player count.
Tekkan has brung up the player count a bit. About 10 characters added in the last 1 or so maybe a tad less but enough. However I dont think brawl has a problem with players, but like he said add to human players they should have like a 5-6 player cap on 1 system. Also voice chat is a must just have it regulated with mutes not hearing your friends or being able to talk back is why I mainly prefer offline multiplayer over online any day in any game.
I'll admit, before the game came out, I was angry about its online interface. But now that I got it, its actually not that bad. And you only use friend codes half the time, because if somebody joins your match that is not on "your" friends list, but is friends with the other people in the room, a "red box" that says "friend request" (somethin like that) appears over that person's character on the character select screen, and all you have to do is click it to add them as a friend. Nintendo got somethin right, huh? I love this game.
"#8 Capcom-Inspired 2D Fighting Mode
2D fighting on a single plane, finite life bars, and no getting eliminated for falling off the stage. I know it’s not classic “Smash,” but it would be a whole new way of playing the game."
I'm guessing this idiot never played Super Smash with stamina rules.
thats the only good one but until bigN get their thumb out their butt and fix the online I won't even think about it i mean i can't even join freind matches 0.o
Why do Videogame Series always make a Game a lose some great fighters!Like Roy & Mew~2! I wish they added Wart Final Boss from SMB2 & Knuckles from Sonic Series! But these are just my opinion! of course sum numbskull will Dissagree with me like always! thats how it is when u try 2 voice yur opinion! lol B~E~Z!
More Players: Uh I think 4 is enough it get's kinda crazy with 4 but 8 it'll be too confusing and especially gives you headaches.
Capcom-Inspired 2D Fighting: I like the way it is.
Create-A-Character: I think It's better with the regular characters on this game here. Plus to me it won't look right. You have a mii going against a snake or sonic. I would see our Miis in a assist trophies but not as a playable character.
