Bioshock Infinite Review | GameCloud

Bioshock Infinite is truly something special, and whilst it’s evident in the final product that the game struggled to find an identity during the early stages of development, it still comes together perfectly to create a unique world that feels so natural to be a part of. Elizabeth is an absolutely wonderful companion, and it’s obvious how much love and attention to detail went into her character. This is not a perfect game technically speaking as there are so many problems and compromises riddled throughout the experience. However, it sometimes takes a certain combination of imperfections to truly make something special, and that is exactly how we feel about Bioshock Infinite. With an outstanding cast of characters, compelling world and a narrative that will almost certainly blow your mind when the final curtain draws, this is just one of those games we recommend everybody should play. (BioShock: Infinite, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) 9/10

On behalf of GameCloud I would like to let everyone know that we've just hit our first major milestone this month, both as a recognised review website and with significant growth in the social media space. It is because of this that I would like to thank everyone on N4G as this is where the project gained it's first momentum. Thank you!

Congrats and all, but you need to realize that N4G traffic is NOT the kind of traffic you want to have. You want regular visitors, and organic traffic; getting hits from referral sites (which N4G is) isn't worth a lick in the long run.

Also, refrain from celebrating milestones like this. It makes you look incredibly silly when you state things like "significant social media space" when you've got significantly less than even 1000 Facebook fans.

I'm not trying to be harsh, I'm offering some perspective. I've started up a handful of gaming sites myself (for sale purposes, mostly), and I remember getting excited like this-- but if you manage to make some real strides, you'll look back in six months and likely be embarrassed for making comments like this. Let your site speak for itself.

Edit: Great looking site, though! It's nice to see a clean, organized structure in the midst of all the trash, fly-by-night blogs that pop up on N4G every five minutes.

Hi Rockefellow,

Thank you kindly for your advice, I appreciate your comment.

You're exactly right though, and I certainly would not post such a comment if I were representing my actual business. Perhaps I just a little too excited at seeing my passion project grow from nothing into something, albeit really small. It's still good for SEO to get listed through N4G, but you're right, the best views will come from my niche little FB group.

It's 3:30am in WA, and it's been a long day. Although, I might take a quick moment to check out Dark Souls II. Can't resist.

Have a fantastic evening!

I completely understand. Good luck with the site-- hopefully it blooms into something more than just a side project for you one day.
