Expect increase in third party Wii U titles

It might be just about time to pick up a Wii U if you have not yet. Face it, the first party titles that are out for the console are great..but it seems to have a lackluster of third party titles that quite frankly make you want to not even bother with the system itself.

I'm surprised they didn't mention Watchdogs, AC4

Dj7FairyTail1681d ago

probably because those are coming at the end of the year.

This entire post is basically now til Summer Ends.

KrisButtar1681d ago

good point, I am interested in those 2 titles, to see what the gamepad can offer because I don't really care about their exclusives all that much and if they add something that I want, I would buy a Wii U for them

BullyMangler1681d ago

so no matter what, Shadow of the Colossus would be a funner gaming experience on the Nintendo wiiU rather than on a ps3, 720, ps4 or 360 due to the game-pad ? oh

deafdani1681d ago

If you don't care about the Wii U exclusives that much, then you'd probably be better off playing on a PS3. Just saying.

KrisButtar1681d ago

I have a PS3 as well as others, I buy the "best version" of the game on that console, for example the Bethesda games I buy, on the 360, Ubisoft games on PS3, etc. Now that the Wii U is getting support and if the better version is on the Wii U,then thats where I will buy it.

TBH I don't really care about 360 or PS3 exclusives, to much either

TbreakingP1682d ago

It is strange that they have not mentioned those titles, as I we would expect those to be the heavy hitters.

It's good for the platform to have more simultaneous releases as oppose to older ports (akin to the launch lineup). Hopefully Nintendo can further this trend so Wii U owners have more games while waiting for the first party stuff.

As for me, it depends on features. If these third party releases offer something the other versions don't (off-TV play for example) then I'll probably get that version.

THEY ARE ALL KIDED GAMES WHERE ARE LOST PLANET 3? WELL NINTENDO SAID THAT THEY WANT HARD CORE FAN BACK IS DUCK TALES A HARD CORE GAME ? NO

Whymii1681d ago

Try not to shout please.

PygmelionHunter1681d ago

Oh boy... It's one of these special kind of persons we fear to find on the internet...

ON-TOPIC: Good things will come to those who wait, I suspect that sales will increase after Nintendo releases their new 3D Mario game (no sh**, I know) and then we shall see some more 3rd party games jumping on the wagon.

maniacmayhem1681d ago

Say that again using the King's.

"IS DUCK TALES A HARD CORE GAME ? NO"

Lol. You probably weren't born then, but Duck Tales on the NES was though as nails, so yeah, it was pretty hardcore. If this remake respects the difficulty of the original game, it will make many grown men cry.

Unless you meant blood and tits and swearwords... in that case, go back to playing your Call of Duty, kid, because no mature gamer would be as closed minded as that.

CaptainN1681d ago

I ment to hit agree..... :/ Ducktales was deff a core game, anyone who doesn't think so has been brain washed by Blood, Guns and Mature ratings !!

delboy1681d ago

Agreed
I even consider classic 2d Mario more hardcore than CoD.
I died more times in Mario then in any CoD game.
New age games are just like watching a interactive movie, hardly any skill or reaction time is needed to play them.

Splinter Cell Black List, Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, Watch Dogs, and Batman Arkham Origins are the main ones this fall. Also Rainbow Six Patriots has a high chance of coming over.

PopRocks3591681d ago

I'm pretty sure I saw a supposed retailer listing for a Wii U version of that game. They may officially announce one soon, if not already.
