It's 2013. Download a GBA emu already.

TechnicianTed1200d ago

It's obviously for the benefit of people who collect games for the GBA. I don't know if you know, but some people do still love to own the actual game cartridges, not just the roms.

Gamer Muzz1198d ago

What kind of asinine comment is that?
Some of us actually don't approve of piracy.
Then there are many of us who are true gamers/collectors who would much rather own an officially licensed piece of video game history rather than a ROM. Any fool can download emulators and ROMs. Nothing special about that. There is nothing at all wrong with showing Love for the industry and wanting the real thing.

If the title on the cartridge says Pokemon Diamond that came out 6 years before the real one came out and if you got it at a Philippine airport in Manila? Yeah... boy did I regret buying that POS. Impossible to complete because the save always got corrupted.

imahustla191200d ago

haha u shoulda know better but i bet the price was good.

ChipChipperson1200d ago

Yeah, unfortunately I was just a little kid during that time, but I remember seeing one of the covers had that elk creature from Princess Mononoke and going what the hell?

DarkZane1200d ago

Just get an emulator already, we're in 2013.

How can anyone be this lamebrained?

Hey everyone, Josh here from GeeksPodcast. I know emulators are available, of course, but TechnicianTed is correct- it's for the benefit of those who are collectors more than anything. That, and parents or the uninitiated looking to get a cheap game who don't want the headache of a knockoff with a faulty save system.

@imahustla19 I SHOULD have known better, but hey, at least I got to make a cool video out of the experience :)

Thank you all for watching and your comments/feedback- we truly take them to heart and use them to make better videos and posts. Take care!
