They are using the game pad in the perfect ways, but for me playing a stealth game with something that huge just wouldn't work well. I want to see this on PS4 and also want to see Spies vs Mercs Gameplay. Thank you Jade Raymond for helping reinvigorate a series I had nearly lost hope in after conviction.

have you played games with Wi U controller itself> for me its one of the most comfortable controllers I've played, plus using gadgets on it will be awesome

I could be wrong I have only picked it up in stores and played some. Thank you for not just disagreeing and actually responding. I will try using it more just don't have a friend with it yet and I am not going to invest until it has some solid games I want

@thich

maybe one day you 'll buy it, its a good console that needs games only and I bet in later time people will start loving it (still there'll be haters like always or jealous people who will want exclusives) .. to play in store its not the same, better with some friends or alone (Nintendo land is awesome, Nano assault Neo is awesome) .. cant wait for E3 and other (good) Nintendo Directs :) anyway, happy gaming :) btw, when u get used to controller it is really awesome, believe me, when I first time used it, I thought: why is it so big, but later it was ok for me, I dont care how big it is, but yes - it is very comfortable and some games are just ideal to play with 2 screens at once :)

I also worry about having the gamepad and friends just having to use pro controllers. I think it would work great for singleplayer or playing some online multi like spies vs mercs but other games leave me perplexed. Thank you happy gaming to you as well

Awesome. Ubisoft=WIN
Nice to see they are using this new tech and supporting the WiiU.
I've been transitioning from Xbox to WiiU as games permit so this is great.

I wasn't too interested in this game but I DEF BUY ON THE WII U for the GAMEPAD features! I loved Batman AC devs used the gamepad I can just imagine how good it would be for a Spinter Cell game! Ubisoft is beasting on the Wii U. Please keep it up!

Oh look, another game that wont sell good on the Wii U!
WiiUsauce  +   528d ago
lol no shit? There's only like 2-3 million users on Wii U. How would you expect a game to sell the same amount of units as there are consoles sold on Wii U when even on 360 where there's an install base of 70 million plus, only a handful of games ever crack past 1 million copies sold? DERP DERP.
Nevers0ft  +   528d ago
Whereas whenever any other console launches, early adopters just go out and buy 20 copies of every game to inflate the sales figures.

Props to Ubisoft
After the Rayman fiasco, they've proven themselves to being one of the building blocks to the Wii U's ascension from mediocrity.

i love every Splinter Cell iteration (yes, even Conviction). and seeing that this will be on Wii U, means I may get the Wii U version instead.

Good job Ubisoft, this game looks great. I guess this new Splinter Cell works sort of as a reboot to the franchise, which worked well with Tomb Raider. Hopefully the Wii U version gets some love.

FPS isn't my genre - But I must say, the Gamepad features look pretty cool and innovative, not to mention the graphics are top-notch.

Ubi seems to be pretty keen on making sure they bring out a good amount of new, quality titles to the system. At least one big developer is showing significant interest in the Wii U.
