Is Battlefield 4 Doing Enough New? Is EA Stuck In a Nosedive?

GE:

- How much has changed from Battlefield 3 to Battlefield 4? Is it enough?
- Can EA pull out of it downward spiral?
- Was firing John Riccitiello a smart move?
- How can Square Enix right itself from its nosedive towards the ground?
- Was firing Yoichi Wada a good move?
- Is the Final Fantasy series any good anymore? (Battlefield 4, EA, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

we've seen nothing about the multiplayer yet, hell we don't even know too much about the single-player.

I'll be happy with 64 players and bigger maps on ps4 to be honest, I loved BF3 and I'll happily buy this day one.

you should really save these kind of articles for the same COD which comes out every year.

Battlefield 3 added, maps, modes, guns, vehicles, new ways to play and people are worried about BF4? There's so many possibilitys BF could go with future games.

BF is in no downward spiral either? It looked bleak at first with Op metro being un-BF-like but the final game was awesome minus the co-op.

premium edition pretty much killed bf3 for me. never bought it.

Not even looking forward to bf4 now.

It looks cool but, it does look like Battlefield 3.5, Ill still buy it, I love the multiplayer for BF3, I dont really see Dice making the mp for BF4 any worse

I still have hope for Bad Company 3 one day, maybe itll come out around the same time as the Bad Company tv series http://uk.gamespot.com/news...

Thats because Sony and MS know..

Console gamers.. Dont care about graphics.

Which is why MS and Sony wont provide them with powerful hardware.

seriously lol and people have stopped questioning cod for their lack of everything. Dice are doing enough to keep battlefield great.

I've heard a theory that the reason why Square Enix's financials were so horrible, despite the good (but disappointing for SE) sales was that the company took an absolute bathing because of Final Fantasy 14.

Grammar. And yes, FF14 has been super expensive. But it only contributed to the problem. They wouldnt poor this kind of money into that game.

MMOs take hundreds of millions of dollars to make and upkeep. See 38 Studios.

no, BF is going the COD style, which is really sad... where are the good old days, when the devs were concentrating only on the multiplayer...
R_aVe_N  +   526d ago
Umm they having been focusing on multiplayer for awhile on FPS story parts of games have never been worth a crap. The way I see it multiplayer should be a bonus not a selling point, but people got everything ass backwards this gen.

I'm glad someone hit this subject up. If people stopped looking at the graphics they would have noticed the dumb enemy A.I. That was present in the single player game of the last battlefield.

So not much going on there

i wonder if this same person that created this stupid article asked that same question when MW3 came out.. because it was NO DIFFERENT from MW2... or when BO2 came out.. because it was NO DIFFERENT from BO1 (other than time setting and guns - same engine, same gameplay, same lag)
