An official cartridge for the homebrew Halo 2600 game is now available.
Halo 2600 huh? Well it's 10 years early but I'll take it! Oh calm yourselves, I'm just teasing.
That is pretty epic...lol
Lol what? No it's not epic, did you see the screenshots of the game? Looks like Atari E.T game with guns. http://atariage.com/store/i... @B-radical No but the game looks flat and boring. Take a look at Solaris, Pitfall 2, H.E.R.O, Demon Attack and I still have a huge list of amazing Atari 2600 games. This guy didn't put a single drop of effort on this game it's pretty obvious that he just wanted a couple of easy bucks.
Thats the point of it.......did you expect super nes type graphics?
It is an atari game you know...
If youre getting this for graphics, youre missing the point.
@cpayne93 @Bathyj Did you read my response to @B-radical? You're underestimating the Atari 2600 graphics, just like I said before, compare this sh*tty game to Solaris, Pitfall 2, H.E.R.O, Demon Attack and other awesome Atari 2600 games. This guy didn't put effort on this game, he just thought that he could make a mediocre game and sell it at $50 just because its for Atari 2600.
"If youre getting this for graphics, youre missing the point." the gameplay is probably terrible, too, so....
hold the phone....an Atari game looks like an Atari game ?! what happened to the world we live in ?! I mean they should at least have put Atari logo on it ...oh wait http://s2.n4g.com/media/11/...
Lol kids gotta love 'em... I guess you don't know there's a E.T game for Atari.
it's actually playable, which makes it about a million times better then ET. ^_^
we gon need a landfill
It has actually been available as a cartridge for quite a while...
Copyright lawsuits in... 3.2.1 Remember the Halo branded ammo.
It would give me an excuse to dust off my old Atari 2600
just because it's old technology doesn't mean it's cheap to produce. I have to agree to some extent though. I definitely couldn't spend $50 on this. although a kick ass NES homebrew game I might be able to cough up $50 if it was intriguing enough.
i agree to some extent, i do still have a working 2600.....i would realistically spend $15 if it had a nice case, more as a collectors item than anything else....though i may play it too...lol
Bring back the bit and sprite games. Screw polygons.
This is so cool! I love this franchise, i think i'll buy it.
