PSA: ConSARS & PAXPlague, The Dangerous Diseases

Super PolyPixel - We are taking a bit of break in our regular posts to highlight something very dangerous. I have recently recovered from it. It lasted a week and a half and there were moments I thought I wouldn’t make it. Consider this a public service announcement.

Picture the setting: A large convention center. The main floor crowded with booths. Music pulses from some. People shout into microphones in others. People move about, completely absorbed. A lot of people.

Which is why Patient Zero is able to move about quietly and unnoticed. Patient Zero could be anyone. Male or female. Young or old. But one thing is certain: they are the carrier of a dangerous disease. (Culture, PAX East 2013)
