MotorStorm dev played an 'instrumental' role in PS4's DualShock 4 development

MotorStorm Apocalypse developer Evolution Studios played an "instrumental" role in the DualShock 4's design, revealing that it started working with Sony on the controller's functionality all the way back in 2011. (Driveclub, PS4)

Not knocking Evolution Studios. But, I personally would have gave that job to Suckerpunch they have the tightest and most properly layed out control schemes of any company in gaming, IMO. After a few minutes you don't need to think about what your doing, everything comes natural (which is why I love them so much).

Im sure they weren't the only developer who helped in the design of the DualShock 4

They're not. Guerrilla Games helped too apparently

What an ugly controller equipped with gimmicks.

Or am I missing something?

Nice work guys, At's great everyone who's developing on the consoles had this amount of input.

Why is every body hyping this controller?

It's the same controller with a poorly placed useless touchpad. It frankly looks like something that was created in the 80's. Has the Atari and Collecovision vibe going.
