“Thank You, Goodnight” – My Fond Adieu to Rock Band DLC

Green, Red, Yellow, Blue, Orange. With those five buttons, Harmonix gave birth to the wave of music games that, for the better part of a decade, gained huge momentum and dominated the game industry. This week, Harmonix is releasing what will be the final DLC track to Rock Band, Don McLean’s “American Pie” and while DLC may be ending, the music is certainly not dying, because if Rock Band is known for anything, it is its longevity in the supremely competitive video game market.
