*(Spolier Alert)*

Was anyone else confused with the bloody nose? And why could Elizebeth open tears but never once when she was locked in that tower did she excape through a tear?

Conzul1272d ago

The tower was draining her power in order to float the city - remember?

The bloody nose was because Booker was taken into the game's main universe from another one, and the conflicting memories started to mess with his head.

donkeynutz1272d ago

@TheSuperior the bloody nose was because of his flashbacks..as for the second question im not sure either.

irokster1272d ago

I think he bled because somehow he was someone brought in through a tear because if you notice when he checks the blood his hands flicker like the stuff that elizabeth brings in through a tear but somehow she doesn't flicker at all.

My first comment, so hopefully I can be of some use in this.

Spoilers obviously, but...

Elizabeth did mention that when she was younger, she could create tears as well as exploit existing ones. Comstock had a "Cipher" installed to dampen/leash her powers.

At the end on the Hand of the Prophet, you instruct the Songbird to destroy it which restores Elizabeth's powers in full.

A bloody nose is a typical side effect of travelling through time or between universes.

Morpheuzpr1272d ago

The bloody nose was the effect of having conflicting memories (same person having 2 different memories of a particular moment) or overridden. I think I'm the only one thinking that this game is overrated and that people think it's great b/c it has a good but very convoluted story. But as a game IMO it's just another FPS, thou riding the skylines was fun.
