Ways FIFA Can Improve In The Next Generation Consoles

GamerFitNation: As the next generation consoles grow technologically, so should the games we play. As of now, next generation consoles offer touchscreen and sensor technology, sensor technology has already proven to be a huge success among gamers, and I believe titles like FIFA could bring players closer to an at home football-soccer experience by using that technology to their advantage. (PS4, Wii U, Xbox One)

how about actually caring for the their customers and fixing issues with the damn game. Theres game breaking bugs since FIFA12 in career mode. and now in FIFA13 and EA doesnt care at all to even attempt to fix them, they just wait for next FIFA release and the same thing happens.....

EA knows that football fans will buy the games every year regardless of problems

pes is regaining momentum though. If EA keep ignoring all the problems in the games and keep focusing on gimmicky half baked features (like impact engine and first touch) then I'll be more than happy to go back to pes.

Momentum is the other big problem.. it's got to the point where discussion on it is banned on the official forums. Regardless of EA's "official" stance, it exists in some form or other and ruins the competitive nature of multiplayer games at least.

Agreed, don't think I can handle another release with a cumbersome menu interface. The more data the game has to handle the worse it gets, as in every year it just gets worse!

They've taken strides with the gameplay but here's hoping they actually address the issues that customers complain about. If EA bring us a half-baked update I'm jumping ship.

p.s. There's a chance the promotional screenshots might actually be representative of gameplay footage. Always gutted when I notice the grass is flat.

I'll always buy Fifa no matter what. But the possibilities for next gen are really enticing. I'm hoping for a big overhaul on Fifa 15. Fifa 14 obviously won't do it because it'll be the crossover Fifa.

I really wish this myth that EA release the same game every year would vanish. To someone who knows nothing about football, or even knows the mere basics, it will look like that. To football fans, the yearly updates are MORE than worth the £40 asking price. It's always my game of the year because no other game has the staying power that Fifa does for me.

You know, up until Fifa 13 I'd have agreed with you however Fifa 13 was a joke. Almost all the major problems that were in Fifa 12, were still there and they added new ones too. The whole tweak to perfection argument is valid however when they leave imperfections as they are, then it's void.

I want dynamic weather and more unpredictability.
