Drakengard 3 Isn't Just About Making A Sequel... Not Entirely

It's been 10 years since Drakengard (Called Drag On Dragoon in Japan) was released for the PlayStation 2 and 8 years since the release of its sequel, Drakengard 2. Now, Drakengard 3 is on the way, and according to producer Takamasa Shiba, it's the perfect time for it. (Drakengard 3, PS3, Takamasa Shiba)

i want to like it but the games look worse than a low budget psp game. I bet this game was made with psp than trying to port it over.

I'm confused about your Nier comment.

@snookies12
I play Dynasty Warriors type games and it didnt look this bad. Dynasty Warriors 7, Ken's Rage and others look way better. It still looks like a PS2 game. Hopefully it looks better when they release it. I dont care about Battlefield 4 since i stopped playing FPS period.

Yeah i liked Nier too i love the ost for it.

I think they meant Nier on the VITA. I don't think that'll happen. It didn't sell well despite it being a really fun game with a great narrative.

A lot of the screenshots look pretty good man. A few like the one used in this article have some pretty bad ground textures, but honestly it's still in development. Plus, you have to consider what Drakengard does, it puts armies against you and a huge map to fly around in. Can't expect it to look like Battlefield 4 or something. Also, as long as the game is fun to play, I'll be happy no matter what it looks like.

I love both series: the Dynasty Warriors series and the Drakengard series.
Day 1 buy!

Even the best PSP games are far from those graphics. And maybe the best Vita games look around that level.
