CVG: Starting today, the classic PSone-era Tomb Raider games are going for half-price (of as little as $2.99), while PSP game Lara Croft Tomb Raider Anniversary is also on sale at $6.49.
I got every single Tomb Raider game released on Steam a while ago for like 7.00 total. Love those sales.
Each or Total? Anyway, I didnt like the Tomb Raider games back in the day(PS1 days). My only moment I liked was messing around in the Mansion I think TR2. Maybe I'll give it a go.
Tomb Raider 2 was boss. It's sad, because I remember playing it on the original playstation before the internet. I didn't like buying strategy guides. It took me a few days to realize how to get out of the first area. I felt ashamed once I figured it out.
No shame at all. No need to apologize. I got stuck on the part where you have to put the 3 gold bars on the Midas hand to turn them into gold. I bought the strategy guide for 1 and 2 to help me through that level and even though I knew what was coming ahead, I still loved TR 1 and 2. They are in my top 15 games of all time. As a bonus the TR2 strategy guide had pictures of Lara in sexy dresses and bikins in full color on glossy paper. Unfortunately the guide became useless after a while.
I still absolutely adore the old Tomb Raider games. I know people love the more action orientated reboot (and it is a good game) but give me the atmospheric, puzzle focused old games anyday. Also I much prefer the sarcastic, witty, arse kicking Lara in these games to the whinny, over dramatic American/English Lara in the new game.
fyi Tomb raider anniversary 6.49 Tomb raider 1 ps1= 4.99 tomb raider 2 2.99 tomb raider 3 2.99 tomb raider last revelations 2.99
Which Psone tomb raider game should i get out of the 4? Which is the best?
Tomb Raider 2.
I really liked Tomb Raider Revelation (4) Also TR3 was brilliant but very tough. They're all great games though. I would say go for Tomb Raider 1 and start at the beginning, if you can get past the graphics it's a lot of fun. Play it on you're Vita if you have one.
