MasonicGamer.com: Injustice Gods Among Us is the latest title from NetherRealm Studios, it’s basically the Mortal Kombat team reborn after Midway went under. Mortal Kombat II and Shaolin Monks aside, I can’t actually tell you I ever enjoyed the series in the past but that all changed in 2011 with the release of Mortal Kombat. The game went back to it’s 2D roots, dropped a lot of the stupidity from later games and the team got some professional fighting game players to give feedback along the way. The result was a non suck Mortal Kombat game for a change, pretty much everyone I know ended up enjoying the game and sales were pretty good too.
Injustice: Gods Among Us launched 10 years ago today, birthing a brand new fighting game franchise from NetherRealm Studios.
Injustice turns ten years old today, so let's look back at why it matters
10 years on from the original release of Injustice: Gods Among Us, NetherRealm's other fighting game deserves recognition.
I came batarangs.
I'm surprised Sony didn't make a deal to put in Cole from Infamous. I know he's in SFxTK but he would fit more in the DC Universe (especially since DC has a comic for Infamous).
the game is amazing. the better you get the better it gets too. once i was pulling off combos, throwing dumpsters and knocking dudes to lower and high levels, the game just got so sick. day 1 buy
Got boring fast
I like it.. It's been a while since I've been on a fighter.
The Unreal Engine looks pretty good here I must say.
