This Week in Gaming History: The Undertaker’s Video Game Streak Hits 42

It’s that time of year where the WrestleMania streak of the legendary Undertaker is talked about quite a bit. The veteran WWE Superstar has appeared at a record-setting 20 WrestleMania events and come out the victor in all of them.

The WrestleMania streak, however, isn’t ‘Taker’s only amazing run. Starting with WWE WrestleMania Steel Cage Challenge in 1992, the Phenom has appeared in 42 consecutive video game titles spanning every console generation since, including every Sega console, every Nintendo console (except the Virtual Boy, but nobody counts that) and every PlayStation and XBox generation to date. (Culture, Industry, Take-Two, WWE 13, WWE '14)

Wrestling may be a childish pile of garbage these days with it being the PG era meant for small kids, but I still love Taker. Long live Taker!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
