Atari Enlists Advisor for Infogrames Proposal

Next-Gen.Biz reports that Atari has hired an external financial advisor to evaluate a recent proposal by Infogrames to fully acquire the company.

A special committee of Atari's board of directors has retained Duff & Phelps, LLC as its financial advisor to evaluate Lyon, France-based Infogrames' proposal.

Infogrames, which already owns a majority stake in Atari, proposed to buy the remaining Atari shares for $1.68 cents each in cash.

Atari's special committee said that it would not be able to respond to the offer by March 11 as requested by Infogrames.

I should buy out Atari, I'll make them bigger and better just like I made westwood DICE and Baskin Robbins better
