YWB - Are flash games a thing of the past?

YWB: "For people like myself, a huge part of my childhood was spent playing Flash games on the web. Sites like Kongregate and Newgrounds were often a huge part of my school lunch times, and just about every other moment in the day. These simple and often very meaningless games could be considered to have set the foundations for the Smartphone and Tablet games of today. However, are Flash games a thing of the past?"
