Avoid The Rapture With BioShock Infinite (GamerHub.TV Review)

A floating metropolis far above the sins of many where the inhabitants worship the Fathers of our Country. A man whose warped view of the world has twisted his view on history to make him a hero and prophet to his people. A leader of a rebel uprising focused on liberating the people of her city no matter the cost. A man saddled with a debt he cannot repay and the girl he must find whose special abilities could be the key to bringing her city salvation or destruction. These are not the makings of a complicated Hollywood blockbuster but the plot setting for one of the best told stories this year. BioShock Infinite is the third entry into the BioShock series from Irrational Games. Is Columbia a leap forward in the series or will it bring forth its rapture? Find out in our review! I gave it an 8 due to the issues with the graphics, its ease of difficulty, and its lack of innovation in gameplay outside of the Sky Hook. It is still worth checking out and playing for sure.

Sort of surprised by the 8. Have seen and heard good things about it. One persons opinion I guess and everyone is able to have their opinion. Taking a long look into getting this game

Just shows how inflated review scores are these days when an "8/10" is in question as a bad score. I'm loving the game so far but I agree that it's not perfect. Anywhere between 8-9 is a fair score to me.

Basically goes back to that 'hate out of 10' video discussing inflated scores. At this rate, 9's are going to be considered "low score trolling for hits."

Totally agree that the ratings system we use now the has its flaws. From what I had heard and seen, the score just took me by surprise a little bit thats all. I'm sure the game is not perfect but it should really depend on how you feel about the game. If the game gets a bad score and you like it, big deal. The way the review scores system works, it's a shame that an 8 is looked at as poor by some people. Is it to a point where the scores system needs to go and reviews should just talk about the gameplay. Only time will tell
