There are rumors that BF4 and PS4 release date will be announced together and some say that it will soon be listed for PS4 & Xbox 720. But if you ask me, i don't think if its true because all the authentic news so far on BF4 says that it will be released before PS4 and Xbox 720.
But I would really like to see this awesome game on the next generation consoles because they deserve it or vice versa.

What are the actual incentives of preorders for EA? Is it just for some statistic and a way to alter their expectations? I'm all for preorders and benefits from them but I think they're taking it too far with this game doing it so early, at least wait until Microsoft announce their next gen console so they can list it for all systems simultaneously.

There are news about some Pre-order offers for Battlefield 4. They may give some DLC named 'Drone Strike DLC' to those who pre-order it.(from Cinema Blend’s report). But can't say if its 100% true or not.

It's true. At Gamestop you can get two real dog dags that feature BF4 promo art on them and you also receive an access code to the first expansion entitled "Drone Strike Expansion".

So early? This games is six or seven months away. That falls in line with most pre-orders on major titles. I think the more telling thing is the price. Forty-five dollars. It makes me wonder if we will see a price drop on current generation as the next gen starts. Will those pounds translate to dollars here. I can't imagine current gen staying the same price as it is now.

I surely agree with what you have said. Even Amazon mentioned that "Pre-order Price Guarantee: order now and if the price decreases between the time you place your order and the release date, you’ll be charged the lowest price"..Which means that the price drop is expected anyways. But if BF4 is revealed for nextgen consoles, the price drop is ineitable.

Not impressed by the £5 increase in the retail price. Definitely taking advantage of their fan base.

what about a premium edition?

There's no point in buying the 360/PS3 editions of BF4. As with BF2 the current console versions will pale in comparison to the next gen and PC versions and I'm certain you won't see any PS3/360 gameplay until the first reviews roll out....

C'mon Amazon. Where is the $20 credit? And why do you have to pre-order by the 13th of April to get the bonus content? Whatever it is, it's not detailed.
