PAX East: On ‘Dungeon Defenders II’s’ transition to a MOBA | StickSkills

StickSkills said, "It was just days before PAX East that Trendy Entertainment announced a free-to-play sequel to the original Dungeon Defenders with Dungeon Defenders II. That in itself didn’t sound too crazy until Trendy mentioned that the game would contain a competitive multiplayer MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) gametype. Then, when it came out that the mode would be playable on the PAX East show floor, I knew my weekend would be interesting." (Dungeon Defenders II, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

it's not just a MOBA though...there is just that also included.

I loved the first game on xbox360.

Can't wait for this.

Ghod..Free to play = pay to win = pass, and yes, it was fine the way it was, maybe not the best tower defence game I've played but I put many hours into it.

free to play isn't play to win.

You have to have skill.

A decently skilled player with bare bones everything could destroy a new player who has all the best unlocks and equipment.

I played the living hell out of Dungeon Defenders... to the point where I can't stand it anymore.

I'm going to try my damnest to not burn myself out on the sequel.
