Forgotten PSP series that deserves a chance on PS3/PS Vita/PS4

'Back in 2004, the PSP first released and revolutionized gaming by offering quality PlayStation games on the go. Since then, the system was plagued with problems, such as piracy, which resulted in a severe drop in quality. Despite this, there were still a number of solid games the PSP had to offer. Now that the Vita is officially a year old, many gamers are still holding out hoping that their favorite PSP series will find their way on the Vita or at least the PS3/PS4.' - JPS (PS Vita, PS3, PS4, PSP)

Yes, to all of these. I really wish these developers would start revealing or working some vita titles. Also, wheres a vita sequel of that AR monster capturing game, Invizimals.

Invizimals cartoon coming in Winter 2013!
The cartoon is suppose to unlock some stuff on VITA too.

Something tells me there might be a full fledged game now. I hope so!

Here's a trailer for the cartoon:

Woah, thanks for that. Must be related to a new vita game somehow. Might also give the show a chance.

Metal Gear Ac!d, man i loved those games!

They got so much hate for "zomg it's not a metal gear!", but if you just took a chill pill and appreciated it for what it was, they were great games that i played the hell out of back in the day.

If they put them on the PS Store for Vita i'm all over it!

Props to LocoRoco too, i even bought LocoRoco Correcho for the PS3 =P

Also, a Vita sequel for Killzone: Liberation would be awesome, one of the best top down games i played =)

Pursuit Force and Coded Arms.

Coded Arms! <3

It's easy to forget how many great games the PSP had. It's labelled a "failure" and everyone forgets that it was a ctaully a great little piece of kit with some really great games =)

The one thing I want to hear, the one thing that would make me honestly exited for the PS4 rather than just admiring the hardware, would be to see sprite-based graphics to return to mainline games. Something like Wild Arms XF, but with an King of Fighting XIII style.

It bothers me so much that in "evolution of gaming" timelines that 2D graphics fade away when the 3D became mainstream or the norm.
Godmars290  +   764d ago
That's been my problem with UE3, Crytek and everyone else pushing their own or general graphic engines: they all favor 3D. Maybe just FPS for all of the flight sims that have come out.

I like this article its about time they mention PSP series that need a vita or PS3/4 entry I still enjoy the library of the PSP

I would settle for Patapon 4 for the Vita.

I would love to see a dissida game for either vita,ps3,ps4! I never played a traditional FF game since I suck at most RPGs (besides pokemon) but the dissidia titles are amazing.

All Falcom games... seriously. Though the Trials in the Sky Trilogy is already being ported to the PS3...
