Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain trailer analysis

Every Metal Gear fan will already have seen it, the latest trailer for Hideo Kojima's current project, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. But like a true Metal Gear trailer, it manages to show a lot, while raising even more questions. Here is an analysis. (Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, PS3, Xbox 360)

dont care that its multiplatform, just hope its not a setback

I usually prefer exclusives because you can get quality that you don't get with multiplats. But with Kojima it doesnt matter how many platforms MGS is on, he will still create a masterpiece.

Absolutely, I prefer exclusives as well since I own all consoles, but it looks like with the Fox Engine it doesn't really matter.

Does anyone notice that Big Boss' ears look different in the shot where he's wearing the bandage on his head and where he's not?

Is it design contradiction or a hint? Maybe it's Decoy Octopus disguised as Big Boss. We already have Psycho Mantis and Ocelot in this game by the looks of it.

Ishmael may even be Decoy Octopus, who knows? That would explain why they both sound like Kiefer Sutherland.

Yeah, I haven't completely ruled out the possibility that it may be someone else than Big Boss, even if that seems far fetched. Also because of the different voice actor. It's hard to tell what's going on in that hospital scene with all the hallucinations and dream like sequences.
