[Rant] Why I Love The Marvel Ultimate Alliance Games (And What I Want In A Sequel)

Twinfinite takes a looks back at the Marvel Ultimate Alliance series and shares what it would like to see in a sequel. (Activision, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Nintendo DS, PS2, PS3, Raven Software, Wii, Wii U, Xbox, Xbox 360)

Raven Software has been forced to work on COD dlc by Activision.

X-Men legends 1 and 2 and Marvel Alliance were fantastic games that each took me over 20 hours to beat, MA 2 was nothing but a cash grab during the Civil War story in the comics and I beat in under 7 hours.

I loved the first one the most but 2 was good as well. Hopefully Ultimate Alliance 3 will be announced in the near future.

I loved the first one, and also loved Xmen Legends 1 and 2.

It was awesome seeing someone adapt other stories into new media, instead of your standard origin stories that Hollywood is stuck on.

And hopefully, this time, they will pick a better roster - MUA 2's roster was an insult.

Probably wont since they basically got a free to play mmo coming out called Marvel Heroes. I know its not by the same people. It's basically Diablo 3 with Marvel characters.

I really like most of MUA2's roster...But my one gripe with Marvel Heroes is that it's an MMO and limited to PC gamers.

Those games really are guilty pleasures.

While a new Ultimate Alliance would be nice, (as the first post states, Raven Software has been forced onto said project) without Raven Software developing the game, it won't be any good. That's the difference between Ultimate Alliance, and Ultimate Alliance 2. In Ultimate Alliance 2, Raven Software is absent, and it shows.
