The story is too old to be commented.

"there is little question that the Shield will be able to provide one of the best looking and performing portable gaming experiences available when it launches in the first half of this year"

Yes because we all know those android games are breaking boundaries graphically.. and the only other thing it can do is stream PC games and scale them down to a lower resolution.. Yes I am sure PC enthusiast will snatch these up.. Nothing like downgrading your games just to play them on a smaller screen with a controller.

...When you can use wireless controllers with PC's already.. Why on earth would most buy a shield.

My only question is does it work like remote play? I know they state it works from you home WiFi network but it does not state that it can be accessed from anywhere. Remote play is cool because it can literally be accessed from any location with accessible Wifi.

If Sony patented that I guess Nvidia's streaming doesn't work that way exactly. Which to me makes it even more worthless only being able to use it within your own home WiFi..

Nope only same LAN network. But it can do GRID cloud streaming too which can be used anywhere.

NVidia got a lot of ballz. They are trying to go around Sony and M$ to sell chips in the console market. That is not going to be easy. The best hope they have, is with the windows tablet system with the i7 processor and 8 Gig of RAM. Just need to find a way to get the price around $499 and include a 1080p screen. Like I said: Easier said than done

This thing is going to flop along with the ouya.

Shield is atrocious!

I don't even understand what its intended demograghic would be.

This thing is going to flop alright, as it doesn't seem to have any clear cut market it would be geared towards.
