Nintendo of France has revealed that the UK isn't the only European market where Wii U sales increased dramatically with the release of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. Wii U sales tripled in France the week of the game's release.
This is great news.
Oh wow. People really wanted this title. I think that's good for both the console and the franchise.
Good. I guess WiiU needed games. It is nice to see that lots of Nintendo (current) Exclusives are having Cross Region Appeal. Hopefully this encourages Nintendo or Japanese Dev. to Export more Japan Only Titles.
But I was told MH3 wasn't going to be a system seller & Nintendo was doomed. Imagine what would of happened if Rayman Legends was released when it was supposed to. Cheers Capcom. It seems you have more faith in Nintendo than Ubisoft. I don't expect much fanfare on this piece seeing as it goes against many people's talking points and is good news for Capcom & Nintendo. lol
Yo F*** Ubisoft, absolutely embarrassing that, if true, Microsoft blueball 3rd parties in this way. Also quite remarkable how naive people are easily able to critisize Nintendo for their 20 year old issues with 3rd parties, but completely ignore the attrocious treatment by other console companies in return.
No surprise here.
