7 Facial Animation Technologies That Can Bring PS4 Games To Life

"Next-gen is on the horizon and plenty of publishers have revealed new technologies which are not only setting a bar with regards to the visuals they can push but also in the field of realistic facial animations. These things are incredibly ambitious and we probably won't see them implemented in games any time soon but considering game developers have pulled off mighty fascinating things on consoles with 512MB RAM, one should not write them off." (PS4)

remember they could optimize it for PS4. when devs show off there new engines they always tend to use a high-end card so the frame rate dont stutter half way thru the demo. they want to show what their engine could do not how much power it takes, but since consoles have fixed hardware they could tweak it to get the most out of it.

I hope Bioware will make some sort of new animated interactive face technology for their titles. Playing Mass Effect or Dragon Age with facescan or mo-cap characters would kind of suck IMO.
