Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel Review | IGN

IGN: "Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel: elite soldiers of fortune? More like idiot statues on roller-skates." (Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel, PS3, Xbox 360) 5/10

I knew it all along. Another masterpiece you got there EA, to all gamers, get 2 copies of Bioshock Infinite instead.

I liked both games with Rios and Salem. This one, the demo, felt funky.

If this bombs they are gonna blame it on piracy.

Play the demo before you do. I played through both of the other Army of Two's with my wife and we liked them. But the new one feels different. The camera system also sucks now as it feels like tank controls. That's bad for a 3rd person shooter because if it was gonna make me move like a tank game, it might as well be 1st person. But we liked it because it wasnt 1st person, we prefer 3rd. So the disapointing movement, the terrible A.I.--they just stand around sometimes, is just NOT worth $60.

Plus the online disconnects a lot. Worse than even in the other 2 games. Don't be a blind, ignorant fanboy. You've been warned in advance--this game is a $15 purchase AT BEST. It really is terrible.

"Don't be a blind, ignorant fanboy" not cool.... you can leave trash talk like that to somebody else. I play what I want to play when I want to play it. That simple!

Damn sorry dude, i meant it to sound metaphorical. As if to say "Don't be LIKE a fanboy". It sounded different in my head when I wrote it. Honest.

Oh my god theres another one....I thought they had gave up on this franchise.

....no.......well they should of
KaBaW  +   971d ago
Nawh, I liked the first two games. With some simple and minor improvement..
Well, the game would have have been stellar. Instead they went the opposite way.

I did like the first army of two, it wasn't great but it was fun, honestly i love split screen co op a lot, play with my brother without having the need to buy two copies is always a plus for me.

Games with the word 'cartel' in the title seemed to be cursed these days.

Visceral should be shut down after ruining Army of Two and Dead Space. I actually liked the first games in both series, but each one became crapper later on
