Before anyone complains about God Of War doing so badly, 506,345 units in 2 weeks is a very good number.
TheFallenAngel  +   753d ago
It did almost as good as Gears of War Judgment did.

But the question is...

Will Gears CONTINUE to sell once word gets out???

http://www.amazon.com/Gears...
http://www.gamestop.com/xbo...

Something tells me it's second week isn't going to be looking so hot. Once word of mouth spreads from launch week buyers................ You know the rest... : /

WTF, Gears only sold 25% of GeOW3 launch week.
HammadTheBeast  +   753d ago
Ascension and Judgement still going strong, it's sad to see so many people buying the Walking dead game, everyone who bought it is a sucker.
BanBrother  +   752d ago
I agree. I have a friend who got TWD, and he said if you are a fan of the show, it is 'okay'. But whoever paid full price got sucked into the Acitivision bs. I wouldn't buy it on principle. Gamers have no morals or self control. I plan on getting it 'eventually', but when it is like $10. Did people seriously buy it over Bioshock, GoW and Gears? Dayum.

The walking dead sold 87,666 copies? I hope we don't see a sequel...

Oh wow Lego City is doing pretty good!
animegamingnerd  +   753d ago
those poor 87,666 souls that bought the walking dead survival instinct
BanBrother  +   752d ago
I hope they didn't enjoy it tbh. That is what you get. Activision's soul purpose was to trick fans into buying it. Not once did they plan on making a quality game out of it.

Nice to see Gears still doing well, even for a Gears game that plays more like Unreal Tournament. Hopefully the title update tomorrow, addition of Execution and a free map will help out a bit.

I bought Lego City and I have to admit that is the best Lego game to date. I'd recommend it to everyone.

Plays like UT how?
Jek_Porkins  +   752d ago
Well I'll list some of the differences.

1.No downs
2.Shotgun is a primary now
3.More power weapons around the map
4.You can jump off buildings now
5.Moves much faster like UT
6.No planting grenades
7.Domination is very close to a game mode in UT

Just the feel of the game is very similar to UT.

People are buying The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, thinking it's the other game. Seriously.
DivineAssault  +   752d ago
Monster Hunter didnt do as well as i thought it was out here.. I guess wii u owners in the US dont care for games like that.. It has to be a mario esq game for em to buy
AnotherProGamer  +   752d ago
yeah Monster Hunter Freedom Unite sold more than 1.5 million on week 1. Monster Hunter Portable 3rd sold more than 2 million in its first week and this sold a little more than 100k

seems weird

Gears continuing the trend of under-performing prequels that nobody really asked for much like God of War.
