GTA V Is For Current Gen Consoles, Not Next Gen, Okay?

Techtorial: After the release of GTA V's new screenshots, the community questions again if the game will truly debut on current-gen or next-gen consoles. Well, Rockstar Games has one answer for this. (Grand Theft Auto V, PS3, Xbox 360)

this is why I respect Rockstar and kinda wish Ubisoft learned from this. One of my biggest grip with companies like Ubisoft is their habit of making a game across all consoles for two different generations. I mean, if it was ported later to promote an upcoming game, then I have no problem with that. When you are dealing with 2 different generations, you are limiting your expectations on how much effort you are going to put into porting the game. Black Flag will look better on ps4 than the ps360 w/o a doubt, but by how much better are we looking at? Black Flag just feels like a quick cash in towards future projects, so it is a smart move from the business standpoint, but not so for the consumers who are looking for a real launch title exclusively for the new generation.

Which is fine, the install base of this generation is big, but this game might make it next gen, which is okay, the more multiplat the better.
