Old Kojima Tweet Foretells Phantom Pain Reveal, Online Multiplayer, Release Date?

Can Kojima say or do anything that isn't later seen as part of some big conspiracy? In December 2011, the Metal Gear Solid creator posted a tweet about game promotion in the western market. At the time it had people scratching their heads - it didn't really fit with anything he'd been promoting up until that point (certainly not Metal Gear Rising). Move forward a year and a bit, and things are starting to fall into place... (Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, PS3, Xbox 360)

Man I can't wait for this game. Love all the teasers Kojima did... I loved the hype and how everyone was so excited that night of the VGA's when we first saw TPP. It's gonna be one hell of a ride waiting for MGS5 to come out!

I've been following the series for nearly twenty years now, and I still feel about as excited as I always did with each new reveal.

And that's not down to me, that's down to Kojima knowing how to make an awesome trailer.

Agree 100%. It's truly incredible that the excitement I had watching that MGS5 trailer reminded me of the excitement and goosebumps I had when i played MGS1 for the first time all those years ago. Truly spectacular how Kojima puts a breath of fresh life into this series with every new installment.

MGO2! MGO2! MGO2! MGO3? MGO2!!

1,500 Hours on my main Char in MGO1

1,000+ on random alts.

Loved it. Want more. Now.

^ MGO2 still is the best online game I've played thus far.

What's gonna happen when the next MGO comes out and it's called MGO2? .

ps3 for me :)
I really hope they don't ruin the game with multiplayer. MGO was fun in MGS4 but I feel like they'll just tack it on with this one.

I prefer co-op missions like in Peace Walker. So Snake and a soldier from mother base for co-op :)

The bad thing is that in the trailer they show mother base going to hell D:

If u dont want it, then dont play it. U say it's tacked on/imposed upon u, but your wish for it not to exist is impossing to those of us who DO love MGO. So if u dont wanna play the online, then don't. That's your problem.

Me, on the other hand, am just as excited about a 3rd MGO as much as I am excited about MGS 5's campaign.

This game looks so badass.

MGO will be better than any Call of Duty game that comes out after COD4. I hope there's a MGO3. Please be true!
