God of War: Ascension Review | Nerdluster

Nerdluster: I currently sit at a crossroads with God of War: Ascension; as a fan who's played many of the God of War titles I can't quite recommend it as a well as I'd like to. The cinematic storyline and soundtrack feel as though they'd be better suited for a linear experience like a movie and not a video game. As Kratos you only have a single path and deviation is not accepted. Most video games are linear experiences true but Ascension and other God of War titles follow a well defined script that often leaves you feeling as though you don't have much control. (God of War: Ascension, PS3) 80/100
