Gears of War: Judgment Review | BagOfGames.com

Josh from Bag of Games says "On the exterior, Epic Games’ Gears of War: Judgment may seem like just another re-skinned, subtitled entry of one of Xbox’s most beloved franchises. However, you’d be hard-pressed not to recognize the bold steps made by co-developer, People Can Fly to rejuvenate the Gears of War series’ solid formula in a way that feels noticeably fresh, but strikingly familiar."

Great review! Every time I see games such as this, it makes me think that we really should not have any platform specific games at all. :)

I would love everyone to enjoy from I.e. Uncharted or Ni No Kuni PS3 has.

I agree with you. However, in order for corporations such as Sony and Microsoft to draw attention to their specific consoles, they must have some sort of unique features that the other doesn't. Oftentimes, that usually ends up being software exclusives. From a consumer perspective, I would love to see Gears of War on PS3 or Uncharted on Xbox 360. However, from a business perspective, I also understand that exclusive titles provide consumers with an invective to buy their consoles from a specific manufacturer.

Gears Judgment is a fantastic game!

I just finished it on Hardcore, I'll be playing on Insane Mode in a few hours!

I agree, I really enjoyed the unique touches People Can Fly incorporated into Judgment. They didn't just slap together the same Gears of War experience with different character skins, they actually tried to mess with the formula a bit and make the gameplay fresh. I, like you, agree that they should bring back Horde mode. While OverRun is a blast to play, I would love to see Horde mode added as DLC sometime in the near future.
