Neocrisis: CCP Games, the world’s leading independent massively multiplayer game developer, is pleased to announce that on May 6, 2013, the very date that EVE Online launched 10 years ago, the DUST 514® Uprising build will roll out, bringing new features to the mercenaries of New Eden! Honestly I would give it another go. Make sure to watch tutorials and use your SP wisely. Also, accept the fact that you will die a lot when you start.

I got into the beta in April and quickly gave up on it. A month or so later I was bored and decided to see how it progressed. Now I can't put it down. I literally haven't played another game on my PS3 in over a month. Have multiple un-opened games gathering DUST (pun slightly intentional)

I downloaded it again and it's the exact same game I played several months ago. Not terrible by any means but certainly not good enough to ignore other games imo. Actually, the gun sounds are terrible. I like the premise and the randomly generated levels but the entire package isn't there yet. The skill system will also be daunting for many people without a better explanation for what you're spending points on.

You probably won't see this as I can't directly reply to your comment but...

I don't understand your concern with the skills; hitting triangle on any of them tells you exactly what they do. Still daunting though.

As for the sound, that's way down my list of things I would care about, but that's just my opinion.

That's cool. They should proof read their articles though.

"DUST 514 is currently in open beta and is available as a free download exclusively on the PSt®3."

I am impressed with the modifivation ability's.
The idea of the combat suit having its own power source and CPU to stress in different ways, with add ons learned over time is prety awesome.
The gameplay needs refining though.

I wish COD or BF would go deeper in the unlocks and modification, not this super fecial stuff.
