GE: "Atlus has announced today that Dragon's Crown is coming to North America this summer."
The only reason I can think people are disagreeing with you, is because they dont own a PS Vita or a PS3.
Well said my friend. +1 Agree and +1 Bubble for intelligent reply. Its really a good thing PS3 and PS Vita are having a steady flow of great new JRPGs in 2013 specially games like Dragon's Crown whose intentions brings a breath of fresh air to artistic 2D games
I don't own either but I'm happy for others who get to experience this game. I'll prob grab a vita in 2 years and then I'll have a ton of games to play. game looks good though.
Can't wait to play this. Been waiting for so long and after some of what happened I thought we may never get to see it release.
+1 Agree and +1 Bubble for helpful reply. Vanillaware and Atlus team up just made more sense than Ignition Entertainment. "Vanillaware was originally founded under the name Puraguru in February 2002 by former employees of Atlus, including game director George Kamitani and two others, ..." On a side note Capcom is capitalizing on the release of this awesome game by publishing to PSN another George Kamitani made game Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom. With Muramasa: Rebirth 2013 is a great Japanese 2D side scrolling action games are rolling out once again this year. http://www.psmania.net/2013... Guardian Heroes HD on PSN ... please Sega.
Summer 2013 eh? Sounds like that rumored August release date could be true. Cross save is present but no cross play, only question is there cross buy? If there isnt, ill most likely be buying the PS Vita version. Also, playing as the elf, the only normally proportioned character in the game.
I hope so, but the press release only mentions the game's prices individually.
Yeah, prices are mentioned but no confirmation of cross buy. Maybe they're still deciding whether to feature cross buy or not. Guess we'll have either wait till it releases in Japan or the devs/publisher say something.
Hmmm no news for the EU, may have to be another import from me along with Ragnarok Odyssey. We shall see.
Ragnarok Odessey is released in EU but Atlus can be a bit slow with their releases when it comes to EU, maybe they wont publish it themselves.
Yeah I know but it was only released last month, I knew it would take ages come to the EU so I just imported it. Plus it's only available digitally in the EU which is lame. Just glad I got the mercenary edition last year. I held out for Persona 4 Golden though, I was really tempted to import that too because I knew it would be ages but waited it out. Not sure I can do that again for a game I really want lol I don't know why it takes them months to localize a videogame when most of Europe speak English anyway.
In my part of EU (Gamestop) hard copies of Ragnarok are available. Anyway, I agree! it is frustrating, we always have to wait.
fuuuuudge! my ps3 just broke and it annoys me atlus brings these awesome rpgs exclusive to ps3 then for some reason when they are helping with some mediocre game it gets a 360 version too lol
dang my xbox just broke and it looks like I cant play the mediocre games that you mentioned :(
this is the first time I hear of the game! seems like a spiritual successor to the beautiful Odin's Sphere. it's a big loss if it won't be released on the 360.. I hope it does at some point.
Buy a Vita or PS3. If money is the issue oh well here is a tissue :D
Big loss ? Xbox fans never buy this sort of games. + the Xbox is a nobody in japan . Furthermore , sony has a good relationship with vanilla
That's how I felt when I first saw Muramasa the demon blade only come out on wii, and then later to PS Vita. I still really want it but I'm not buying a system for just one game. Very glad this is coming to PS3, I'd also be upset if it were exclusive to a system I don't own. I'd have no problem with this game going multiplatform, as long as I get my copy I say the more the merrier.
Sony and publishers boned us with promises of cross buy on tons of titles.
Sony isn't the publisher for this game, they can't force this on every title that releases on both systems. It might end up a cross-platform downloadable title but who knows, either way I'm just glad it releases on the PS3 and Vita at all.
I realize that SONY is not the publisher, but they still stood up there talking cross-buy and it is a rarity.
Yes, yes and More yes. I want for PS3.
Anything Atlus publishes and im on it. I have never been disappointed by any of their published rpg games.
Hmmm, which is better, Dragon's Dogma or Dragon's Crown.
7/25/2013. Here I come!
