A more perfect gamer union

In a recent editorial article, the game opinion site mmoopinion.com discusses the importance of finding ways for building better gaming communities.
Three proposals are listed in an attempt to promote the gamers to leave at least some of the bad manner expressions behind.

Excerpt:
"Many players simply leaves the game in which trolls thrive.
Game development companies can do a lot to establish a well mannered culture within their game communities. It’s all about which norms they choose to promote.
At the same time the communities themselves have a responsibility to eachother. Older players can make the choice to in a calm and mature way set a standard in the tone of conversation, which actually inspire change."

How do you think we could help gaming communities reach higher socially interactive levels?
Check it out!
