SonyRumors latest editorial from CeraTopz asks how you prefer to play games and if the 'Sharing' feature from the PlayStation 4 will change the future of social gaming. She goes on to share her experiences growing up as a "spectator" gamer.
Actually, no, I don't. I remember once when I was playing LBP2 online and there was a particular bubble I needed. This guy just wouldn't follow me. All he had to do was stand on one of the buttons and I would finally have that elusive prize bubble. I kept running in front of him, jumping up and down and then running to the left, Lassie style. He just stood there bewildered, wobbling his head. I then decided to grab him and try to drag him physically to the button, but still he resisted. It was SO damned frustrating!
How can you disagree with an anecdote? LOL ... unless ... one of you is that guy!
Didn't disagree but why didn't you just message him?
I did eventually attempt to message him but by the time I'd written out my message he'd gone. I really find it fiddly scrolling through the damned letters.
Buy a USB / BT keyboard, they can be had for like 10 dollars and are usable on the PSN to type messages like that.
@GribbleGrunger: "I did eventually attempt to message him but by the time I'd written out my message he'd gone. I really find it fiddly scrolling through the damned letters." That is when voice chat would have been beneficial? Sending text messages is awkward and slow and nobody should really use it at all in this day and age.
Depends how competent my partners are. If I am doing objectives in a shooter and they're doing TDM, I don't play well with them. If I am hunting monsters in Monster Hunter and they're supporting others to kill the monster, no problems here. If they're a blithering moron (I met two people on the PSN that couldn't pronounce Admiral, so they called me Adam.), I quit the match that very second.
Nope. Never did, never will.
They must have common (it really isn't) sense.
I like to think I do, gamer etiquette I like to call it.
No, i even have an achivement called: Doesn't play well with others
